Communication

The teachers at KinderHaus will keep you informed: with daily write-ups explaining what your child did, parent bulletin boards in each classroom, articles in the center newsletter, parent conferences, speaking to you at arrival/departure time and on the phone.

Teachers are available to meet with parents for individual conferences and for counseling. Newsletters are distributed monthly from September to May. We encourage you to read each article. If you have an article that you would like to share with other families please hand it in to the Director. Occasionally, we might ask for an article from you about your child.

Parent Bulletin Board:
Is a most important communications center at KinderHaus. It is used to display snack menu's, newspaper and magazine articles, newsletters, cards and notes, messages and information directed to the parents.

Notebook:
A notebook is provided for each child. The teacher's in the infant room will be more specific noting amount of food eaten, length of nap, diaper changes and a brief description of your child's day. The toddlers and preschool children also receive a notebook, theirs consists of a specific paragraph about their day.

KinderNews:
A newsletter will be given to each child monthly September thru May. The newsletter will have messages from the Director, snack menu, birthdays, articles from the classroom teacher and Kinder Corner quick and easy ideas of things to do with your child at home. Articles from parents are always appreciated and warmly accepted. Our KinderNews newletter will also be available online.
