Snow & Ice  KinderHaus follows the District of Columbia School System for all day closing. Should they open late we well make every effort to arrive on time. We do suggest calling to make sure someone did arrive. If school closes early due to the weather, again we will follow the D.C. School System. It is important that you listen to the radio or call should you have any doubts. We will make every possible attempt to contact you. Parents need to realize that it may be difficult for our staff to reach the Center on snow or icy days. Please check to be certain that sufficient staff have arrived before you leave your child at KinderHaus. Occasionally staff members may only be able to accept limited numbers of children due to regulatory limits. Should this happen you may be asked to stay until additional staff arrive. There are no deductions in tuition for days that KinderHaus must close because inclement weather conditions. |
