The ages listed above are a general approximation. Please note that children may “graduate” to the next classroom if the Director(s) and/or Teacher(s) feel it would be beneficial and space permits. If your child is moved to the next classroom, fees will be reduced at that time, if applicable. 

KinderHaus staff is trained in Early Childhood Education. They plan a daily program that will promote and stimulate growth and development for each child. In order to better understand each child, they need opportunities to talk with you and your child. In the Fall your child’s teachers will meet with all the families in the class. This is a time for the teachers to explain how the classroom “runs” and answer any questions you may have. KinderHaus schedules parent teacher conference in either December or January. Conferences may be scheduled at other times if needed. If you have other concerns, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher(s), the Director of Staff, the Assistant Director or the Director to discuss our program, any situations in the home, scheduled events, etc, which you feel KinderHaus should be aware of in order to assist your child. 

Every new child that attends KinderHaus “transitions” the first week. The first day your child will stay 2 hours and each day increase their stay 1 hour. We feel that it is important that you and your child gradually become part of the KinderHaus family. With “new” moms and dads it is comforting to reunite with your little one after only a couple hours versus a full day. Even our “seasoned” moms and dads find that long term their child is more relaxed and confident.
